Our Staff
Ashlee Johnson
Ashlee was raised in St. Charles, earned a degree in Mass Communication from Lindenwood University and is currently pursuing her Masters Degree at Lindenwood in Non Profit Administration. Ashlee currently serves as Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of St. Charles County (HFHSCC). Under her leadership, HFHSCC is building nine homes this year. With her fundraising efforts, HFHSCC is in the midst of a 5 year, $6 million, 60 home initiative to build homes for low income families in St. Charles County. Ashlee has helped HFHSCC establish a new affiliate headquarters, which includes the Habitat ReStore. Ashlee is a member of the St. Charles Rotary, is a worship leader for children's church at First Baptist Church of Harvester and also sings in a music ministry called Evidence . Ashlee was one of the recipients of the 2008 "40 Professionals Under 40"Award and recently received a 2009 Dove Award for community enrichment, by the Saint Charles Business Magazine. Ashlee is a wife and mother of 3 and attributes her passion to "help others" to her parents, who are her mentors and best friends.
Anita Sandage, Operations Manager
Anita Sandage has been a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity of St. Charles County since 1998. Since 2000, Anita has served on the board of directors in various positions including: board member, secretary and vice president. In October 2008, she joined the affiliate in a new capacity as the Office Manager and was recently promoted to Operations Manager in May of 2010. She continues her volunteer work with the affiliate by chairing the Family Selection Committee. Prior to her employment with Habitat, Anita worked in the healthcare field for 19 years as a proposal architect for a healthcare computer company providing software solutions to hospitals. Anita has a BS in Organizational Communications and minor in Marketing, from Missouri State University. In addition to Habitat for Humanity of St. Charles County, Anita serves on the board of directors for New Beginnings of St. Charles County; a homeless ministry serving woman and children. Anita resides in Dardenne Prairie with her husband.

Andrea Hughes, ReStore Manager
Andrea began her career at HFHSCC in September of 2007 with a daunting challenge - opening HFHSCC's first ever Habitat ReStore. Prior to Habitat, Andrea has been a store manager at Office Max, managed a Pampered Chef operation and was also a manager at Kinko's for several years. Under Andrea's leadership and through her implementation, the Habitat ReStore has diverted 482 tons of waste from local landfills and has raised $338,000 since its inception in January of 2008. Andrea is currently pursuing her Bachelors Degree in Interior Design at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and is a member of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). Andrea currently resides in Lake St. Louis with her husband 3 children.
